Saw this on Stomp. It's about the words on the tee shirt above. It is sold in the Central Market in Kuala Lumpur.I feel that its unfair for M'sian to print this on it as it's disrespectful to us as Singaporeans.Selling it in KL makes it even worse as many people especially Singaporeans visits that place.Maybe they are trying to ask their people to stop littering but isn't it too much to ask them to THROW it in SINGAPORE?Even jokes has it's limtits..i wonder how they will feel if we makes tee shirts that says "Keep your city rubbish-free by throwing them in M'sia!"?
Other than enraging Singaporeans, what will the foriegners think?M'sians are letting them have a bad opinion on M'sia as well as SG, viewing them as rude and disrespectful to other countries and us as a dirty and unclean one.Either that or that they are ignorant and has never been to SG.
According to comments on Stomp, there are a few other shirts like this sold in Central market as well. However,i also feel that we should take comfortable in that we know our own country, that it's eco-friendly and clean, despite what some of the malaysian's may think.
